Mocks ahead?

Mock exams may not be the real thing, but it's one of the few chances your teen will have to experience a set-up very similar to what they'll face when they sit their finals. So they should take them seriously!

You might not be able to do the study for your teen, but there's lots you can do at home to help them. We've included advice on:

  • Why setting a routine is vital

  • Simple steps to create a helpful study space

  • Ways to help them revise

  • How to help them manage stress and nerves

  • Looking after the basics

Never under estimate the importance of what you do at home to influence how well your teen does at school.

Little things done consistently over time make all the difference

RSHE lessons help teens stay safe and healthy in an ever-changing world lived increasingly online. They aim to give young people the knowledge to make informed decisions about their own wellbeing and relationships, as well as strategies to manage stress, build resilience and seek support when needed.

If you're worried that RSHE is all about sex and not a lesson you want your teen to take, check out our guide which answers your questions, such as:

  • must my teen attend RSHE lessons? (yes!)

  • how is RSHE relevant to my teen?

  • what topics does it cover?

  • should I have these conversations at home?

  • where can I get support if I'm worried?

.

Our specialist guides are written magazine style so it’s easy to understand what’s what.

They’re grouped according to age so you can find what you need when you need it.
